Hi Brandon. I am a descendant and live about four miles from the Pettit Family Cemetery. I am the marketing and tourism director for Gaffney (present day Cherokee County), South Carolina and am the project manager of converting our abandoned Carnegie Library building into a state of the art Revolutionary War Discovery Center. I have tons of Pettit research in my office (and I think I have a copy of old Joshua’s will). I will look and would be honored to share it with you if I am correct.
